Max the Wonder Dog needs a good home where he can run and play. He is intelligent, well behaved and an all around wonderful dog.
Max is a 60 lb. terrior mix, very friendly and polite. Never even had to teach him not to jump up. Being a terrier, his natural instincts are to stalk and eat small furry animals. The small furry animals that got him in trouble were neighbor's cats.
However, if you have a large roaming area with no small furry animals as pets of yours or a neighbor's, Max might be ideal for you. Max is very intelligent and learns easily. He has completed obedience training. Gets along fine with dogs his own size. Loves to play and roughhouse.
Max would do well in either a fenced yard (good fencing a must) or a very large open area where he cannot get to neighbor's small pets.
Max just got his third strike, and if we don't find him a suitable home immediately, he is going to get put to sleep.
Please help Max find a new home.

Max loves a snowy day. We have had to keep him on a long lead for many years now because he menaced a small dog. He is smart enough to extract himself from both a harness and a collar and go roaming. On these adventures is when he got in trouble. |

Always wants to be a part of what is doing. |

Max loves to take a nap in the shade of a sage in a small earthen nest. |

He also helps out in construction projects by overseeing all that goes on. He is immediately liked by every person who meets him. |
